guys, anyone has experience buying from chrono24?
specially japanese sellers?
i found a watch from a professional dealer which has
  • Payment via Chrono24's Escrow Service
  • Authenticity Guarantee
  • 14-day money-back guarantee
the dealer also pays for insured shipping to SG
is there anything else i need to pay other than 7% gst?
the seller has 32 reviews at an averag of 4.95, so i guess should be safe?
usually their professional dealers are quite ok.

Bought from Japan seller on Chrono24 before .. you can find the shop name and google their name to see more reviews in google.. Bought an omega and Breitling before and managed to get a few hundred knocked off the price when I clicked on the suggest a price to negotiate with the dealer

The Seiko cult will say anything, there are even cultists who will tell you that Grand Seiko is finished better than Patek Philippe. Just ridiculous.

EDIT: After hearing their painful commentary, realised that the 2 guys know nothing about watches and what they use as markers of quality to them, are fully out of wack.

To be honest, that colour scheme is one of their least popular schemes and yes the Seamaster 300's bezel action is not as fantastic as a sub.

His comparison is mostly with rolex but you can go and grab this specific piece at any ADs for a discount and with even greater discounts preowned or gray. You can't get a rolex without paying a premium and even at retail its more than the seamaster.

This guy's videos are mostly click-bait too, a more subdued archieluxury.

depends on condition/model of the explorer

But in terms of heritage/demand/tiering, explorer > milgauss for sure.

Thinking of trade/selling my ~6 yo mg and top up a bit for grey 2021 exp1.

Hmmm. I thought tier wise mg is higher than exp 1, the rrp of mg is more, plus it has a sort of ‘complication’ with the antimagnetic casing? Heritage wise agree that exp >> mg

Definitely MG is higher tier in Rolex's eyes. if you are going for the 36mm, i would offer straight swap.

If you are going for the recently discon 39mm, I would offer top up haha.
