I got a IWC Portofino Moonphase from the Zurich boutique in the old town area impulsively and it was more ex than if I were to get it here in Singapore
Generally prices in Europe are about the same right? For brands like IWC, Panerai, Omega…

Only slightly more discount and tax refund?

I going Europe at the end of the year thinking if i should even try at their ADs.

They don't usually offer discount. They just tell you got tax refund.
Lol. But you need to push and commit. Then probably have discount of sticker price + tax refund.

For Watch don’t bother buying from Europe, likely more expensive and less stock. Just get Hermes bags or something.

I was there for 26 days. Nothing. Store haven't open already queues. Same for Chanel, Dior, LV.
Ok I guess the situation is pretty bad for bags now as well and our Hermes SA didn’t lie to us. My wife was pretty fed up on how still no birkin after spending tons and waiting for a year. SA told her if she want pink or light blue maybe can get, but neutral color very hard probably not this year, even garden party need to wait half a year for stock nowadays. So my wife thought should just go Paris to get because she saw online people getting from Paris. I guess no longer so easy.

Need to do the Hermes lottery appointment before hand with you and your wife’s phone number and pray they have the design you want unfortunately. My wife’s sister managed to get the appointment on the last day of her trip back in Dec

People used to wear watches with character 10 years ago

Nowadays people wear watches that are without a company identity

went to MBS' Tudor to try on the Ranger and the Pro, looks nice on the wrist size wise, but a bit surprised when the SA said there's no stocks and need to be on the waitlist... o_O

First time exploring out of Seiko, not used to this 😂
