One of my favorite reissues from Orient - there was a Kanji day run that was limited edition but they also stopped the production for the normal day wheels fairly quickly, which is a pity.

Reissues that are faithful, and true to size, while upgrading the piece to a modern context (e.g. water resistance, materials) are the best. If you have nothing better to do on a rainy Sunday like today, here's an article on the original Weekly Auto Orient King Diver (the name is also uniquely Japanese style lol) by Fratello.

I don't think pawn shops are particularly good at identifying fakes. Majority of the kena scam cases are from pawn shops, it seems.
