Seiko Presage, with dial handcrafted from Japanese Arita porcelain. Arita is a porcelain producing town in Kyushu.

Apart from the captivating sheen of the porcelain, the two depressions for the date and power reserve indicators are something that you can only get from porcelain. For this 2000 piece limited edition, the craftsmen in Arita infused the white porcelain with a pale blue dye.

Very unique and different from other watches in my collection!

This one is chio but cannot drop the watch, otherwise the dial will crack.

For what it's worth, Seiko claims to have worked with the Arita craftsmen to make the porcelain 4 times harder than normal porcelain, to make it suitable for use in watch dials.

But I'm certainly not going to test the validity of Seiko's claim ... lol.
