Anyone have experience with Sinn U50? is it a good one to wear? specs wise looks like a G Shock to me

Not too sure why people like watch winders, I can see the reason if you have a vintage watch with no quickset date function, or perpetual calendar, i.e. where adjustment is very marfun... But there really isn't any positive purpose to it in this day and age.

I'm a fan of their vintage quartz and probably laureato but other than that knows nuts about GP

they are among one of the oldest luxury watch manufacturers in the world. read that they were also the first to introduce the octagon shape sports watch (Laureato) before the Royal Oak actually. recently it seems the demand for their watches also somehow got higher

Yeah one of the older brands

Hmm thot laureato followed the octagon trend instead of creating it? I'm more impressed by their quartz watch where they set the frequency standard which is used to this day. Even the watch case is of golden ratio too iirc

Demand up due to spillover from shortages of other brands hahha

I only noticed that the GP resale value seems to hold better these days compared to a few years back and still better than Hublot
