All swatch watches are sealed regardless quartz or mechanical, near impossible to repair

Field Watch weekend..

With the Serica 4512. I have always been a bit doubtful about the Bonklip bracelet, but it is a very comfy strap, and also quite cool. Slowly growing on me.

Picked up the new Vario D12 today. Such a gorgeous piece really - sometimes it amazes me what our local microbrands can do.

Ironically the oldest watch in my collection now. What I hate is the battery change and TAG always insist I bundle it with the water pressure crap test.

So one video that appeared on autoplay yesterday claims that it may be possible to replace the movement given that it appears to be a snap on caseback that isn't sealed.

I guess can wait a while to see if anyone tries to take it apart. Sistem 51 movements can't be repaired due to the construction, so it'll likely be a drop in replacement.

Seems like Sistem51 Irony case can also be opened - but like I said, it's more to swap movement than to service.
