Bros, are used watch shops allowed to collect NRIC photocopies? Just now I sold my watch and they took my IC to copy. Is this normal?

i think its normal, in case its a stolen / missing watch etc and police came finding they can refer back.
but i may be wrong.

I think they can, under Financial transactions;
But they will need to comply with the Data Protection Provisions under the PDPA

Atomic clock tower is not available in our region, so technically all radio wave function watches are not possible but i do hear some pple managed to get it sync at higher clear sky ground occasionally.
