I bought a few stowa 20mm old style straps from Germany.

Quite nice and soft. Got one extra black regular size to let go. Anyone keen PM me. Just casually asking and not my original intention to use this thread to sell it.

ROOs are the chronographs. I believe he meant the AP diver like the following:

Hi guys just want to hear your opinion regarding buying watches. I want to buy a Tissot Le Locle, but I am stuck between buying it online from amazon (5XX SGD) or buying it locally (600-700)

Bottom line is the few hundred dollars off worth buying it online?

It's perhaps $100++ difference and I would suggest getting it locally. Some benefits to consider:
1. You can try it on your wrist if you buy it locally from a physical shop. It makes ALOT of difference actually. And you know the EXACT watch you are getting, making sure there is no scuffs or scratches.

2. Peace of mind! You do not need to anxiously track deliveries, nor anxiously scrutinize your watch in fear that it is a fake.

3. Physical shopping experience! Choose a Saturday perhaps and walk in to a shop. Enjoy your shopping!

4. Support local shops! =)

$1-2K+, around that range. Haven't actually taken a look at Ball yet.
