sorry to sound offensive, just sounding out only...

The thing is your post sounds offensive to me. You make it sound like Orient is another lousy watch to me. Why not just say you prefer Tissot to Orient?

Yes I have one and I agree with what you've said earlier, just that I prefer Orient to Tissot. That's all. As the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison.

then might as well buy a g shock right? got see thru caseback, is always a plus, especially if tissot makes an effort to make it pleasant looking.

MBS boutique, means a prestigious identity...though g shock has a boutique there too and i dunno wtf is it for :(

Wahlao, display caseback is so common. There are tons of watches out there with display caseback and better decorated. IMHO, only manual winding watches with exceptional decorations deserve display caseback. Else, you are just admiring that piece of rotor.

I'd rather pay more for watches like IWC 7 days and there's a see through caseback too.

I disagree..most common market watches under 1k price range are quartz, not many are automatics. Even if they are automatics, they may not have clear casebacks as they could have a need for 50M WR and above...or have a low manufacture budget like orient bambino

Even if they are below 1k, with crystal caseback...i doubt the finishing is better than tissot visodate

That depends.....you can see the gears in an automatic watch turning too...Automatic watches are manual wound mechanical watches too

another 3 major flaws ive found with the orient bambino

1. 'Water resist' written on dial. Wtf?

2. No deployment clasp

3. No hacking function

I think the smaller antea is ready to ship, no?

For the smaller waiting time, the antea ks current delivery is in october. Plenty of time for you to save up and think about the watch. 7001 movement.

ready to ship, maybe you can try the antea ks 41. slightly bigger dial, A10 movement.

needs no intro,

something i like about them, good build quality, most parts handmade in origin country, not outsourced like some other brands mentioned, blue tempered hands. Sapphire caseback front and back, AR coating.

history wise, one of the 5 approved companies, including IWC etc, to make german fliegers for the airforce during the world war. i am only referring to the fliegers btw. rich history.

go read up if you want to know more.

:D:D:D

The 556A is superior to the Visodate in alot of aspects. Except for dial .

heck, the Sinn 556A can crush some Balls, Seiko SARB065, Seiko Premiers, alot of Hamilton, Mido, Balmain, Certinas, Longines, Fortis and Oris

Double sided AR-coated crystal, Perlage on movement, deployment locking clasp, pure 316L steel, reasonably well decorated ET 2824 movement.

:D:D:D

How to fight? Even tag f1 also loses out
