wow, going aim people going europe and ask them get it. haha nomos is nice but expensive.

Not really considering > 70% of the watch is from Germany,
Watches priced at nomos range are not well decorated and cordovan leather.

never thought my dad left me any watches. the left titoni still works perfectly. when i took it out, it has been lying in a bag of something for years without moving and yet when i look at the watch the seconds is running. the date has been unadjusted and it reads saturday 9th, which means it has been running for years without any winding or shaking or wearing. how is this possible?

anyway, i am hoping to get it cleaned up and adjust the bracelet so i can wear something from my dad. where is the best place to get it done?

Obviously its impossible for an automatic watch to run for years without winding or movement to the rotor. Saturday 9th doesn't mean anything. It probably stop running at that date n had been lying there ever since. When u move the bag, probably the rotor moved a few turns enough to move the second hand.

You can try bringing to K2 watch and check... I just brought my >10yrs tissot for a change of battery. Cost me less than 1/2 what I had got quoted by other shops...friendly owner.

Nice titoni there, I feel it will look better with leather strap :)

i figured the titoni only required one big shake for the rotor to start moving. however if placed stationary for a couple of minutes it stops moving. i guess the date and timing when i discovered the watch was all a coincident, but in a nice way. watch was bought by my grandfather for my father.

i should visit k2 to get it cleaned up. thanks for your advice on the leather strap.

Shake will move la, but you need to wear it at least 10 hours a day recommended.
