International market aside, azimuth, edypoi, reedsco and 25 hours have a crucial reliance on the local market.

Azimuth first batch of bombardiers to "test water" were sold to locals. Not to mention that limited editions were created with singaporeans in mind.

25 hours and edypoi are sold exclusively in sg.

Reedsco do have a local following, even though it relies more on international sales.

If key feedback is anything, local watch forums must be consulted

Azimuth? Their LE today is more international focus.
Singaporean on Azimuth today is more huh? They have strong reliance on local market care to share some numbers?

Key feedback is what one seek it should be boarden up to international forum. Sg roc the ppl there are gear toward rolex.

If he want to follow 25 hrs or edypoi great, don't know his direction one need to keep options open. More feedback is better than limited to local feedback

@laupokcar Glad you like it :) I chose 44 due to the use of hidden lugs which tend to wear smaller. I have tiny wrists too so definitely took that into consideration! Somewhat agree with the bezel too, I might grind it down when the sample arrives so its smooth and see which looks better.

@Henabi Bronze will tarnish when in contact with water or just left out in the air forming the patina which makes it so cool as a material. It isn't advised to be left in contact with the skin as it might leave a greenish mark hence the use of a steel caseback.

Ah yes regarding feedback I am consulting WUS as well! Sgroc too but gotta speak to the mods to ensure it doesn't infract on any of their rules.

I agree I'll need to keep all options open, doesn't matter international or local :)

Plenty of stuff written about for and against omega going with the co-axial movement. Need to google and u will find. None of us here are expert watch technician, so just buy what u like, that's always my guiding principle, couldn't care less about branding, resale value etc and I don't pretend to fully understand the pro and cons of different types of movement either. If u like the PO design then buy it, wear it and enjoy it. Worried about movement? Aim for 2500D or 8500 or 9300 depending on your budget. New 2500s come with 3 year warranty and 8500 or newer come with 4 years warranty.

Do you know of the Azimuth boutiques in Mandarin Gallery, MBS and Monster Time in FEP?
Why didnt they do the same for overseas?

If locals won't buy the watch, what makes you think international buyers will, when international buyers are spoiled for plenty of choice?

There is a saying that goes - "when two fellow compatriots meet in a foreign land, their eyes swell with tears" - so do not belittle local support.

Do you not know that their Roulette watch was inspired by our casinos? If not, how about the yearly NDP limited edition timepiece?

Of course, ideally best is international and local forums, but it is local feedback that is crucial for a startup, in the watch retail industry.

i would never leave out local feedback especially when Singapore is the top swiss watch importer in SEA.

conquer the home base, then international.

Azimuth boutiques (MG and MS) all closed shop, with the MBS branch just closed this July/august.
Now they have this "shop-in-shop" concept with Krasnaya at ION.
And yes, monster time at FEP, since it's same boss anyway.
