hmm watch winders really necessary? isn't it better to just let your automatic watches run down? wouldn't keeping it ticking 24/7 increase the wear and tear on the movement?

well...since can do setting, probably just wind it in the morning everyday then let it run down throughout the day...

i also read in WUS that its not very good to keep winding the watch...will increase wear and tear...

wow biz bad ?

I suppose so. My feel is after the roboto they kind of fizzled out. I have a couple of their watches though. They are launching another brand with a more friendly price tag - around 2k range.

They closed down MG first, then MBS a few months back.
MBS rental quite siong - plus they also take a portion of your sales.

watch-perts, anyone has good experience with any particular watch winders?
I have been considering to get a watch winder, ever since I got my 25hrs auto but nv really wanted to get one since I wear it everyday.
but now I need to get one

I'm currently looking at this dual watch winder by Versa in Amazon.com. Pricing is only $40 USD, plus shipment maybe $80 SGD

Hi hi, anyone knows where I can get at least 20% off for Tissot watches? So far I've only come across 10 or 15% off :(

well burberry dont make watches, so basically you're buying a fashion watch, which was assembled elsewhere by a 3rd party company and then slap on burberry name. I suppose it runs on battery and uses quartz movement.

but of cuz, since its a luxury brand... it will have a fair level of QC.

in terms of design, fashion watches by luxury brands usually are made to match their own line of products.

for luxury brand watches like LV, Gucci, Burberry, Hermes, Emporio Armani, GC... I personally like the designs from Burberry, Hermes and EA

Thanks a lot bro, also does anyone have an idea if bodying.sg is reliable? I saw a tissot going for 700+, was wondering if it is too good to be true.

Tissot isn't very ex. depends on which model you are looking at and also you want a dress watch or a casual watch?

If it's deeply discounted compared to authorized dealer or boutique, then it is likely to be gray market, need to confirm with the seller about that. Standard discount for tissot is 15% but as long as not boutique store, can get higher than that, just need to ask. And certain popular models got a lot of fakes, so best to buy from authorized dealer rather than online source?
