hmm, color scheme looks like a rolex wannabe.

Anyway, after selling my tag due to service issues (or lack of service in my case), i have decided to skip LVMH brands le....its sad, cos they do have some good brands under their umbrella, like Zenith

I think you were quite suay when you obtained the Grand Carrera. You should have exercised more caution and inspected the product more thoroughly.

The GC was made to be TH's premium, creme de la creme line. But of course, it flopped because the market wasn't ready. Hence TH focused on improving its existing lines.

I would say that GC is TH's reply to Panerai, Rolex and IWC - "we can create a better watch for 8k".

Honestly, the issue between yourself, LVMH and the seller is all caused by the seller.

Should have taken initiative to seek proper redress.

I still think that your GC Cal17. is superior to your current Tudor watch.

Thats my honest thoughts

I feel that people should give tag heuer a chance.

Nobody will mistake it for a fake watch, and it does cost less, looks sporty and comes with a good ceramic bezel with gold inlays

Exp II or Sub? Someone posting a lot of negatives about robbers will do anything to get hold of the rolex :D

IWC is launching new INGENIEUR.

I sincerely want my bros in HWZ here to stay safe and sound always, without a Rolex.

But i do feel its good to keep a rolex in a safe. But buying a watch without wearing it, defeats the purpose

Makes me feel good to accumulate good karma too.

And i know that deep down, if they buy anything a luxury watch other than rolex, they have bought a watch that is looked up upon by others and themselves too~~!

It will impress upon others as a legitimate fine watch. Always.

Their kids, grandchildren, can hold those non-rolex watches and wear it anywhere, everywhere without incident. :)

Or else, they can buy an almost real one for $300 without wasting 10k for an actual one

Nice... maybe $8K range....:)

Thanks :)

Tag even copied IWC.

This is a rip-off of the 3714-17

Carrera-Heritage-1-WM.jpg

But they did add a date function and a sapphire caseback

Tudo Grantour watches are quite pretty too RP$3700+ (non-chrono) onwards.... but Black Bay is still hot favourite.... $4550.

just wanna say.. my search for a watch is over. i bought my first real watch. dun wanna say what, later tio pour cold water. but don't really care if some watch snob gonna comment.

wanna pay tribute back to this thread and share with you guys.

reason why i got this is because tudor is more affordable compared to a rolex, burgundy bezel, and the rose. i must say this is a really lovely watch. price is $4550 without discount because apparently most watch outlets are out of this stock.

cheers!

Im just concerned about the safety of my fellow singaporean bros.

If people here keep on pushing Rolex, and if anything untoward happens, i will feel bad.
I sincerely want my bros in HWZ here to stay safe and sound always.

Makes me feel good to accumulate good karma too.

That is very kind of u, sahdu sahdu.

And i know that deep down, if they buy anything a luxury watch other than rolex, they have bought a watch that is looked up upon by others and themselves too~~!

Just curious, what is that to look down upon by others when wearing a rolex, a ball? Most my friends envy and praise my white exp, even my biz associates. Been wearing ever since I have the cash to purchase it. Luck is with me, no harm to me yet.

This a public forum and anyone behind the computer is free to voice out their views. U are entitled yours too. No right no wrong. Everyone has his likes and dislikes, a typical example ball watch :D I like some the design and balls between the legs have never come into my mind when admiring the watch.

I think, the best dive watch is this. i own a seamaster but i think my seamaster is inferior to this Tudor

This is the best watch tudor has to offer, imho

[img]http://www.purity.co/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/TudorPelagos.jpeg

titanium, really light, really true to Rolex's original submariner, depth extension bracelet, maximum legibility and classic

Or this one as a close second

Or this as a close 3rd

Both are very nice, I'd say the omega is more versatile, but it never hurts to have both :D

Breitling has got a thing for ugly numeric fonts, and that bezel...

I'll pick this

BREITLING%2BSuperocean%2BHeritage%2B42%2B%2528green%2529%2B02.jpg

Minus the bracelet or the rubber strap with holes...

Put on a smooth green rubber strap or light green, smooth calf leather strap with orange stitching

And it will be perfect

I agree with u on both counts. I dint check thorough enuff n that the 2893 mod fr the GC is better than my current tudor.

But the gripe i have with lvmh is that even if a consumer is paying everythg they quoted, they still cant get the repairs right. :(

Come to thk of it, its not tag's fault lol. I still like thier watches, including the new ceramic aquaracers. Not the one u posted tho :D. But its the after service that prevents me fr gg back atm :(
