Walked around people's park last week. 2nd hand piece iirc 6000 or so, good price boh? Wats a good price for it ah?

Maybe you guys are a clever & successful bunch in society, but i dont think you should expect that everyone is like you. To you, i seem like a fool, maybe thats becos i do not know anything much about watches or stuff.

Rolex i cant afford. Cant see the brand of your other watch. I shall not comment whether your watches wow or not because as what you say, wow means differently to everybody. But at least, i wanna see what is wow to everyone. You calling me a fool just like that?

Hey, do you think it feel good to be admitting that i cant afford a few thousand dollars of watch here? That is why i provided a long winded description in my much earlier post of what i am looking for, hoping to get some helpful info, but looks like im only being shot with loads of yellowish sarcasm here. If really read my post, would have known what im toking.

If cant understand my posts, then just forget about the whole damned thing. Im better off without a watch.

Yes I was thinking very hard when purchasing exp 2. I wore both n compare. In the end, I decided to go for white cause I always own black dial watch.

The other watch I compared in the same shop is this sub.

Cause u are asking a open ended question if u understand what is "open ended question". In stronger sentence, dun ask stupid question.

It is like asking someone, "I want to buy a box chocolate, which is sweet. Can recommend me a chocolate?". How in the world anyone knows your so called "sweet"/"wow". Dun ask stupid question, else silly answer will be provided.

Why not ask your friend this same question, what is "wow" watch? See how they reply u.

Your meat might be my poison. That's why I always say in this thread, buy any watch u like, dun bother much about others opinion cause u are the 1 spending n wearing.

SKX781K1 and SRP309K1? Anyone can enlighten me?

SRP309 is the newer Monster, with the 'shark tooth' triangular indices. SKX781 is the older one, with the regular rectangular indices.

My budget is also 1k, but ofcos got $100 that is as good as those that cost 1k and just as quality & look ofcos i want $100.

I dont like toking abt budget. If something is nice i wont mind paying a bit more, but not up to the sky. I dont feel that a watch shd cost up to there.
So what is a good recommend? Dont say 11k now, even 1.1k i feel the pain.

Wah 10k ah, they just up their prices and 10k is quite tight for most of their el primero collection. Forget about the tourbillon. Chronomaster power reserve still okay after disc. Chronomaster 1969 after disc should be just nice around 10k (9600 if I remb correctly)

The 1969 is now just about 10k after discount unless you are *very* good at negotiating/ have really good contacts. Rumour is that Zenith is starting to tighten the screws on discounts. The price increase on 1 March was very steep, but there may be more if, as is also rumoured, they set up a boutique in sg.

I want a good value buy. As i have said, i dont look at branding. As long a good watch that looks nice to everybody & which nobody will think it is just a $100. Not just to certain group of people. I know its hard to understand la. I dont understand why a watch can cost 10k or up to 100k. Watch is still a watch, i take one big hammer whack it still break into pieces, unless you are telling me abt diamonds which is almost unbreakable. Watch is not even a precious metal. Most likely the cost is associated to branding, which i find it senseless. Or unless its an investment purpose. If so, im not looking for a watch for investment. If anybody knows what i mean.
