Yup...Tag's price up the ceiling nowadays. Heng I got them earlier (Carrera Chrono Day-Date@$3.5k, Aquaracer 500M Auto@$2.7k) just before they increased price twice a year.

if yr budget is at 3k then more selection choices open up, u can take a look at longiness. i personally prefer baume and mercier, highly recommended even by kohchris who is an absolute tag heuer fanboy.

this model is abt 700 - 800 ard there.

if no wow factor, then take a look at the baume mercier executive series. it is not bad.
