Hey guys, any idea how much does it cost for a full service for a Rolex oysterdate 6694? My dad bought it during the 1970s.. planning to service it as I feel that it is a waste leaving it lying around. He say that he will fork out 50% of the cost. Might need to change movement too, as he dropped it once and the watch cant be wind anymore :( I am assuming around 1.2k from RSC? Is there any other cheaper but trust-able sources in SG that I can go about doing this?

Act 17 get rolex means mature too fast lol. At that age, most will find rolex too old. End up buy other brands like tag even when have the cash haha.

Hi fellows, may I know what to look out for when getting a new watch at the boutiques? Like, am I supposed to get a certificate of authenticity for most of the brands, some tools (those for dismantling the bracelet), warranty card, instruction manuals, etc...basically, what to check?

That's about right. It is basically standard items with the watch.

Tell us what watch you are getting so those guys that have bought the same watch will be able to chime in.
