Really miss this Zenith Port-Royal Open. I sold it and my sub and went for a Daytona

That's so true. German makes a better pilot! :D
If choosing a pilot, I say go German and get GO Senator Navigator. :)

I'm bias against the pilots, i think Stowa has got good enough pilots...
but GO has got some really chio models..
my target is the seventies, and theres the Senator Diary!

Both are nice, but the GO 70s uses an older GO caliber 39, the Senator Navigator uses the newer GO caliber 100.
There are significant differences like power reserve (40 vs 55hrs), screw balance with 18 weighted gold screws for caliber 100, etc. :)

That's the best pilot watch ever in my opinion. Wish I had bought this instead of my IWC.....
Alas, GO has stupidly stopped making these. So if you can find one, grab it!

I was scratching my head about what watches to recommend and this popped out! ANONIMO!

Love this: Militare Chrono-AM.1100.05.005.A01 | Anonimo

Beautiful and I love how the crown is at the 12 o'clock.

Prices? Ain't too sure... But I do know that Red Army Watches brings them in.

Would personally love to get one too!

i almost bought anonimo about a year back... then i went and got my pams instead.

concerns about the watch holding its value stopped me.

Same here, I bought my Pams instead of Anonimo. But since I have done so, I will seriously consider Anonimo.

Not too concerned about the Anonimo watch holding its value because I don't intend to sell it. :)

My most valuable watch is a watch that my late granddad left for me... S$40 in 1967.

I wonder how much is $40 in 1967 worth in 2013.....

When I collected my granddad's Pagol, I was told that in the 1960s, Rolex watches were sold at about S$100+, so S$40 was quite a lot in those days!

Will post up photos once I have the time! :)
