Want to hoot a JLC reverso for my wifetobe, anyone can pm a good place with good SE? ;)

Good choice on the Reverso. Do let your wife try it on for size as it wears big. :)

Sorry, can't help you on the place and SE though.

We went to Sincere @ Suntec last sat to check out the range. 10-13k for the range of Reverso we saw. My mum and wife totally love it.

Very classic and not as flashy as a rolex!

Need a good SE who can give generous benefits :D

Thanks Samfreak and also thanks to the "poisoning" photos you have put up for the MC and the MUT (in a good sense) :s13:

Well, I was similarly 'poisoned' by a bro's good suggestion here as I did not even consider JLC when I was looking for a dress watch. Pls don't post your MUT M39 pic here as I'm still purging the old poison from my system! :s13:

Could you PM me the list and nett prices, please?

hey guys, i'll be heading to Europe next week. Will be travelling to Florence, Rome, Venice, Geneva, Zurich and Nice (France).

I'm probably getting a Baume & Mercier classima. The RRP in SG is around $4k but I got offered a 25% discount and it works out to around a low $3k range. Any Europe experts familiar with the above mentioned cities? Which city will it be cheaper to buy it from?

Also, how much cheaper are the Panerais and IWCs in Europe? If they are significantly cheaper, I might consider getting an entry level Panerai or IWC as well. Thanks in advance for the advice guys!

With below $2k budget, is sinn u1 one of the better choices? No tags please....

2k will get u pre owned if buy in sg. If buy from europe prob can get new.

The bracelet model is a better if u getting im europe cos price diff is less than 200 iirc.

Super value for money. You cant get any better than this build and quality at this price range. Only draw back is the lume. The weight gives it a really solid feel. Some love it, some hate it. I for one love weighty watches.

Will post a picture of it in a leather strap when it arrives from Steveo. :D

it's best to make a trip to THG and have a look yourself. Either CK Tangs branch (Lorraine) or Taka branch (Andy or Candy) and let them know your budget. I bought watches from them before - they're very nice SE's.

off the record you might wanna check out the air king or the milgauss, but i'm not entirely sure if they are within 8k. what you are looking for is a "dress watch with bracelet". If you are referring to the datejust or daydate then they are beyond 8k.

all the best in your search!

edit:
can use this as a guide
http://www.reebonz.com.sg/watch/1499588?order=pricedown&genre=ALL&category=ALL&page=viewall
just realized you might be able to get a datejust a little shy of 8k. Milgauss is out.
