Hi guys, if you were to buy an Analog watch on a budget of $100-200 as a gift for a 25 year old male, which brand would you choose?

I am considering Fossil, but I heard bad things about it.

personally likes the fossil f4735 but i have yet to see the real deal yet.

still thinking bout the ezm2?
Thinking of picking up the U2 with the black hard coated bezel on rubber?like the size and supposed toughness of the watch...but feel at 5,400 before discount, a bit higher than I expected

Hello guys,

I've just purchased a Baume & Mercier Clifton today! I have to send it in for alteration of the strap because of my small wrist size. Can't wait to collect it!

Any dos/don'ts for a mechanical first timer? Am I supposed to wind my watch to the maximum and leave it before using it for the first time?

Thanks!

Regards
