And my hands got itchy somehow and I bought This today.

I dunno if I am allow to post the exact breakdown of the costs here. All in all, the total is about 7 blue notes.

I paid thru paypal with usd rate at 1.31.

Here are where i got the parts (you will be able to find the price of each from there):

depending on what you guys zhng.

base watch - 18x
dial - 45
sapphire glass -60
bezel insert - not very sure
hands - 18
labour - not very sure

all converted to sgd already.

Speaking of buying watch. ...completely forgotten to post the graduation watch I bought for my niece...

In the end...we nv go bencoolen or mustafa or bras basah. It was this watch shop at The Arcade Level 1... kim hype co I think....
He saw this Arbtus NY watch and fell in love with it.

He said he chose this watch cuz he wanted a more matured looking Executive watch

Original price was 658 iirc... after 25% disc was abt 495.

Quite a good deal I think as a few weeks later I saw a arbtus AD in bedok mall selling same model at 700+

Nice and substantial looking watch.....but I think it uses Chinese movement...what's the local warranty like for this brand?

well, the mod is to make it look like 1 but it isnt 1. theres cue that pays homage to it. overall dont think too much of it. if you have the money for the real thing get the real thing. if not, get this and enjoy it as it is. the watch itself is really a steal at the price. damn solid piece.

According to the SA... arbutus uses ETA

Singapore Service Center under Crystal Time. 2years warranty by Arbutus.
