Now why will you want to do that? So after swapping you get black bezel with green dial? In any case Rolex won't allow you to order parts separately. They control their parts distribution extremely strictly.

AFAIK, only gmt aluminium bezel they will readily sell and replace at your request. Nv heard of ceramic bezel swap yet either in RSC or 3rd party.

Does anyone know the retail price of a submariner? I am falling in love with them.
Never been a real fan of Rolex till I read the recent threads about them.

Was always a iwc and omega fan....

I know there are 4 models
1) black dial, no date
2) black dial with date
3) green dial
4) blue dial with yellow gold

Go vintage hahahah ^.^

yup, in any case it's usually people buying the kermit and swap a black alu bezel over for a classic black sub with maxi markers look.

The YM2 dial is love-hate and likely shunned by neutrals. Most would go for daytona at that pricing.

agree. before I got my first rolex I was quite keen in the YM2 because it looks so young and sporty, and I liked big watches.
after a while it looked too ..... tacky. Glad I did not buy one.

I realize no one got buy tourbillion watches?
Always walk past watch shop see that word so I went to google it.
No offense but like ish a bo Liao mechanism. Any views?:s34:

been in a few talk sessions with Dr Bernard Cheong, iirc what he said of tourbillion is that it doesn't really value add to the overall functionality of the watch.

On paper it's to counter the effects of gravity.

To me it's just aesthetically pleasing.

How will the HTB fill?
He gets a second hand 20+ yrs old uncle rolex as a gift from her parents while she get a brand new Tudor.

No unker.... meaning very different. ...

Rolex=made in the year they met. Special
Tudor=made in 2014. Nothing special.

Sorry to bring this up again... i totally agree, and reading this got me quite emotional, because many years ago, i remember with my 1st hard-earned allowance as a chao recruit, I bought my dad a Seiko Kinetic that cost $280. I blew more than a month allowance on that watch and i felt really proud and happy to buy it for my dad on his birthday and I could see he was really happy.

He has been wearing it for 17 years... until last year, he suddenly sold it off to cash converters. I don't know why but i actually felt sad... maybe because i can never understand why he did not see it as an object of sentimental value... he never needed the money anyway. If it was me, i would never do something like that. Maybe that is the difference between my dad and i - we've had a lot of quarrels and disagreements in the past, but i still respect him and love him as he is a responsible family man.

Well... he is now wearing one of my old watches and he seems happy with it. So i kind of accepted the fact that he is not so sentimental and moved on with this incident...

Sorry for the WOT and being emo... if you've bothered to read until this far, would like to show you my late Grandfather's watch... nothing fanciful, but i like it on my wrist and it will always remain an object of sentimental value to me :)

oh man, I think most would have been affected as well.

I'm sure he has his reason or it could just be that he's not as sentimental. I for one am very sentimental and often feel nostalgic.

haha... the good poison is working. :D

model is 3573.50.00
strap on an omega speedmaster pro, imagine yourself as an astronaut, blasting off into outer space... to infinity and beyond!

this is my humble watch. After a long deliberation between this and Hesalite, preferred this. Purists would disagree but would recommend anyone to just buy what they are comfortable with. I'm sucker for see-through at the rear :D

First hand is SGD7,200 before discount
