nope i'm a chinese. personally got b&r because the other brands with watches in the price range e.g. ball, baume & mercier, tag heuer and lower end omegas doesnt really suit my style and age. Plus the dial on this particular model is just too beautiful for me to resist.

i'm curious too, why the question? I personally dont care about anything else as long as the watch is what suits me best and makes me happy. :)

Hmm, i have actually seen quite a variety of races wear b&r tho. So a bit curious on this stereotyping of the brand.

Will probably check out jack road then. They are one of the very reputable ADs right?

If the SS bracelet version of black bay is under 4k sgd, is it cheap? Assuming can get VAT refund overseas of 5%, works out to about $3.7k?

I assume you are intending to get from Japan. Yes Jack road is reputable grey dealer. If you are using a credit card there may be charges involved, 3% iirc. Can't remember if it applies to JR. Email them will be safer, they do understand and will reply in english.

jackroad don't have credit card charges; stated on their front page. but according to triste, kamekichi gives better prices (at least for rolex) but charges for CC usage.

thought of a lame joke.

Since all Rolex watches are oyster-cased, do we call those Rolex watches with blue dials - "Blue Oyster"?

:s22::s22::s22::s13:

for those too young to know - blue oyster bar is a gay bar in one of the instalments of "police academy" movie. :s12:
