I am new to this thread and anyone know what does the rolex code, 116613LN stand for?

These watches are crazy in pricing but finally gotten mine, :D

from my limited understanding

nowadays rolex "codes" are 6 digits. older ones are 5 digits.

the last digit is the metal used. from my observation, 0 is for steel, 3 for two-tone (or they call rolesor), 8 for yellow gold and 9 for platinum.

the rest are model codes.

e.g.
submariners have 116610 or 13, or 18, or 19 and deepsea is 116600
GMT have 116710, or 13, or 18 but no 19 (no platinum for GMT)
daytonas have 116520, or 23, or 28, or 09
daydate, datejust etc..... same number patterns

Thats the ref for the rolex u just flashed. And nice lacy top hand beneath in the background btw. Hahaha

Wow thanks and appreciate the info.
I googled a bit and apparently the reference number don't mean anything.

That's my mum's hand in the background haha.

That's a very clear and simple way of explaining.
Seems very logical but I forgot to ask the China Sales guy at Hour Glass Ion.

Thanks for the advice, :)

I just wanted to make sure that I have gotten the latest Submariner model as I was afraid of getting a back-dated model.

nice watch... but the rubber strap is a little bit different from the ones I saw at TH boutique at Marina Square
The cutting on the sides are deeper and the wordings "TAG HEUER" are more defined

and the details on the dial look very different from this one in WUS forum...

The distance between the power gauge on the watch posted by stormthundarrr is much further away...

and the hour markers too.... hmmmm...
Tag has no fakes according to kohchris!!

at Orchard Ion ah... There should be a cute female Singaporean SA, hair tied up in a pony tail. very friendly, sweet smile. =)

116613LN Submariner Date 40 mm Steel/Yellow gold Black Ceramic/Black 3135 COSC Year 2009-

the two tone sub you are eying should be the current model if the bezel is Ceramic.
Besides that, unless you are looking at a sub which is produced in Year 2014. which is very difficult now...
cuz its now all G+ a bunch of random numbers.

Yes the female SA is the only Singaporean beside the old man and she is pretty but very cool type one haha.

She did my payment for me last Sat.

Yes, my bezel is ceramic and I was just curious how come my bezzel don't have all the little lines compared to the earlier photo by another bro.

I thought mine is the old dial or something like that and the watch cost about $16K, so hope to have a peace of mind.

Thanks for your reply, :)

It's a replica, how does the dial look different? Hour and minutes hands are a little bit shorter than genuine. That's not a power gauge, it's a seconds dial. This is a 6498. Also, the paint on the second hands is painted straight and does not conform into the circle. The movement is identical though, with the exception of one blue screen on the gen replaced by a silver one on the rep

The model you bought is a current one. While recently there have been pictures of your model with the new "dssd" bezel, there's never been any official announcement of change nor was Rolex's website updated. It could be a new variant but no one knows if it's here to stay.

My suggestion is to enjoy the watch you bought. Personally i prefer the older bezel but it's really up to individual preference.

If it really bothers you so much till you are unable to eat, sleep, etc to a point where it is interfering with your daily life you may want to consider selling it then sourcing out the newer bezel variants. :D

I won't be surprise the ADs have not gotten hold of the "dssd' bezel variant seeing they probably have to clear their existing stocks first.

The link below is a thread on Sgroc discussing the new bezel.

if you don't wanna admit that the dial on this TH Carrera Calibre 1 Vintage replica look different from the Real one, by all means please go ahead if it feeds your ego.
