It's the same as the all black and blue-black gmt, just that now it has the Pepsi bezel that everyone was clamouring for but in white gold.

So rolex essentially gave what everyone wanted but at the same time screw most of the consumers but making it in white gold thus pricing it out of reach for most.

Brilliant marketing by Rolex nonetheless.

good as well, makes the batman more worth the bang. hmm, dun really like the red gmt hand though but quite like the pepsi bezel.

think the colors of the batman more nicely flushed, including the gmt hand.

nay. quartz skeleton means nothing intricate to display in the first place. full clear transparent means its gonna turn yellowish in time. everything is in yellow means when worn most likely aint gonna see **** therefore colorway is a fail.

Okay anyway since i've got some time to kill at the gym.

Here's what the missus tried and am thinking.probably you guys can chime in with your opinions,

Initially she wanted the saxonia, but i personally felt it was a little too simple. Changing the strap did liven it up a little for a more modern look.

Then i got her interested in the idea of getting perhaps a lange 1 or daymatic. Pretty surprising it fit her relatively well.

We also tried the AP jumbo full gold on her, but she pretty much preferred an ALS. Too bright apparently.

Another option is to wait for the sihh 2014 novelties to be out before deciding.

If you're referring to lange 1 vs daymatic, its about 10k difference due to the automatic movement...

The finish for the daymatic is really beautiful, in terms of the rear.

We're just thinking if it's too manly for her.

If you ask me, frankly I haven't really seen the date change just yet to make a comment. You were referring to the daymatic right? I pushed the date later to make it jump correctly to the 29th.

My watch isn't with me at the moment as I'm pending a deployment buckle change as well. Perhaps iceflight or any ALS owner here can comment.

So for now, only the box is reunited with the rest of my other boxes.
