AK recommended... If you get from them, they will open the caseback for you to verify movement straightaway... Up to you to compare against picts off the net... You can even request them to write down the movement serial on the receipt...

I think if they dare to make such commitments, should be quite certain that the movement is genuine... These folks staying in the business, not those hit and run stores...

AK and KOH watches both the same family. brother and sister.

Thanks! Is AK at people's park complex? Their price reasonable right?

Hahaha... might be that the things you buy or use are slightly more expensive or branded.
Or they might mainstream brandwhores. So generally they will guess higher amount.

but glad to know some of your colleagues guess 1.2k :)

I'm not really a brandwhore lol. The thing is maybe they don't know Orient and the bambino is quite nicely executed so that could be the reason why?

Kepo a bit, how is your watch collection like? Just curious to find out how a lady watch enthusiast's collection is like. Sorry if it was asked and posted before, too many pages to go back.

need some opinions guys.

pelagos or rolex sub 14060m, 14060 and 114060.

at the moment i saw pelagos for 4.4k grey. 14060 i have seen 4.5k around? not sure bout 14060m. and 114060 is around 8k plus? need those who are well verse in this to advice.

what i like about the pelagos is the feature set, no nonsense design, lumed blue bezel.
what i dont like about the pelagos is eta moment(minor nuance) the not so nice bezel teeth.

what i like about the sub is the history and bezel teeth which pelagos one are too meek in my opinion. the bezel teeth gives the watch presence which i like.
between the ceramic and non ceramic, price is the factor that is kinda stopping me from getting it at the moment for 114060 though i like it better. so i having many thoughts. save longer for the 114060 or just go with the 14060 if i choose to go with sub.

Just got back and did a family photo of my little collection. Nothing compared to iceflight boss's collection of course, but i'm a happy man. Special thanks to him of course for the very kind gesture.

I'll take more wrist shots and close ups of the ALS time zone this weekend when I get around to wearing it.

But all I can say is it has me really lusting for more to acquire.

Dont settle for 2nd best. If 114060 is whatu like best, Save up abit more (or bite the bullet if finances allow cos of price hike vv soon) for that

Haha one Orient Bambino, 2 G shocks, One Stowa Flieger Baumauster b on the way- should reach me by this month end.

Only very recently into watches, interest sparked off while looking for a watch for husband to be as a wedding gift in October. (In fact I joined the forum because I needed help in my purchase decision) Unlike all the big brothers here, xiao mei here don't have that much dispensable income for the ultra luxury so what I have now are mostly more of the 'value for money' watches. :s13: They also happen to be men's models because I generally don't like watches that are too small faced.

Nah, it's a really long distance away from me. His collection is jaw dropping.

But I'm seriously contemplating getting the zeitwerk.

Will settle the missus's Lange first.

ALS's finishing is superb. Never thought I'll own a dress watch but here i go.

Distant 2nd but still 2nd, based on what u share here vs others, there may of cos be hidden dragons who do not share anything..

But seriously. V fine looking n no doubt ALS lives up to their fine watch rep
