Wow. Thread went fast today"............

I'm not born with a silver spoon and from a rather average family, my dad couldn't even afford a university education for me. I'll failed many times as well. To the young people here, reach for the stars, you may never reach it but u will not end with a pool of mud either. To the up and coming, find the golden man and gather his golden dust.

You in the property line?

reach for the moon; even if you don't reach it you will end up amongst the stars. :)

Yes I think so too, about S$280k with not good discounts..... Hope to resist but when arrive and SA call me, probably watch out for my post:s22:

I always say as long as one is contented and happy with everything around him, it's a success already... While 80% in the world just worry about food, we talk about being a loser who can buy a diamond ring for gf....

Triste is the kind of person who will be financially successful. The right kind of attitude. I will always wake up feeling I haven't done enough, achieve enough and when I see a chap get into his Ferrari, instead of admiring or be jealous, I'll tell myself why I cannot be like that one day.
Today, I'm way pass that goal, have a new target in life, always challenging myself....

I'm in this forum not to show off my stuff, if not for my younger days in HWZ, I probably never do this. These watches I have are just stuffs I like akin to PC stuff. I do not have to save or pay installments to buy them, it doesn't form even a small fraction of what I have nor I do not consider them as investments as well. Like it buy it.. And most young people should also buy these things within their reach as well.

You flatter me bro and I am deeply humbled by your compliment. I'm no elite, but I agree with everything you said. You don't envy, you aspire and you overachieve. Never ever be envious.

I told myself I will get myself a Lange just 3 months ago and I've done it. I didn't get it through my parents, nor did I get it through any means that was quick and easy. It was the will and aspiration.

That's the attitude I carry with me all the time. I lost 20kg on a personal front through proper dieting and exercise and that to me is way way harder than just simply earning money. It takes discipline, courage and strength to overcome my own personal fears, laziness and to stay the course. I use what I learnt from keeping fit to my attitude at work and in life.

Hard work and the will to succeed gets you somewhere.

Boss iceflight, if you're asking me, nah not in the property line. I'm in banking. I'm not a young boy boy though., i'm about bro yatto's age.:s13:

Nope I didn't. William Clement Stone did :)

huge businessman and philanthropist. donated over hundreds of millions of dollars for charity and said "All I want to do is to change the world"

also known for saying "Regardless of who you are or what you have been, you can still become what you want to be"

IIRC.

Just curious, purely based on the watch aesthetics (excluding movement), how do you guys feel about ALS? in comparison with similar watches from Patek, IWC etc..
There seems to be plenty of ALS love here. haha. I haven't actually held one in real life before, just purely browsing the internet pictures

cheapest i've seen for Blumo is USD464 net from sbdc003 blue sumo.

Buy quick - Japan GST just increased, so watch prices will all increase price with new stocks.

Gorgeous watch, for those who haven't, go and try to hold it and get a feel of the "heft".

No interest on them as all are dress watches.

But if I am to buy one to keep, it will be PP.
