Boy it's big for u. The lugs are hanging out so much. Like 1cm

Lol are u skinny bro?

My time-keeper today. 312, sandwich dial, P9000 movement (first in-house for Panerai). Heavy and thick piece for my wrist-size, already bumped against my table today!

Haha not fr JPM. U r in banking & finance i suppose..

Edit: U are celebrating your quitting of job.. so nvm about your industry haha

Any updates on your choices of next watch? U already have quite a collection it seems.. but there's always space and reason for a next watch :D

I am eyeing a JLC or Zenith but leaning towards the JLC. I also like the Calatrava and Nautilus but don't want to get to that level yet. There is no turning back...haha

I understand Gassan carries JLC at their airport outlet, so I was thinking of checking it out when I travel next. Save the GST and see what kind of discount they can give. I will be in Europe soon but not sure if prices there are better than SG. Anyone knows?

Watches are evilly addictive. It's so easy to convince myself why I should get another watch.

JLC master series are really nice.. but I think if u looking for black dial, choices are more limited. U considered a reverso (though you already have similar shaped watches in the cartiers)? The reverso 1931 in black dial is beautiful.

Lastly, the last I heard, can still get pretty liberal discounts (25-30%) on JLC if u have the right AD contact. Even walk-in for JLC I think is 20% discount. I may be wrong though cos that's sometime ago I checked prices with ADs.

I dont think NS will make you bigger. My fiance shrunk during NS.

Your best bet is to bulk up (try mass gainers) and hit the weights. Maybe do a 70% weight training and 30% cardio plan? And load up your protein intake?

My experience (for combat vocation) is that while NS may not "bulk up" skinny guys, it will certainly help increase some muscle mass for them, if they had been sedentary prior to NS. On the other hand, gym type guys will tend to lose mass (if they don't separately work out) because the NS life will tend to involve more cardio than strength training activities. For "fat boys", take more photos during NS as those are likely to be the leanest days of your life, unless you bother to continue a healthy lifestyle thereafter.

I won't encourage mass gainers unless one is really desperate to buff up and has a disciplined work-out plan/objective in mind. Trust me when age catches up and metabolism slows down, the mass will naturally come.. in an undesirable way unfortunately. :D

No offence intended to anyone in any way with the above hor

Super against mass gainers.. Just full of sugar

My fave food for calorie density nuts and peanut butter.. But peanut butter must find those without hydrogenated vegetable oil.. Best is if peanuts are the only ingredient, or at most with salt

And if already having difficulty gaining weight, can skip on the cardio for now imo (unless your 2.4 cui must train :s13:).. Start doing cardio 1-2 times/week after reach target weight

Don't know why I am fixated at black dials for now. :D

I did consider a Reverso especially the 1931 one but you hit to nail to say that I already have a lot of square/tank shaped watches (most of my vintage ones are tank).

I also like a pink gold or yellow gold JLC on black leather strap but I have not decided if I want to spring for that price range. So many choices!

but if really very thin maybe need some mass gainer help? not for the long term but maybe for a start.

Peanut butter! My favourite is Adam's peanut butter! I have them on wholemeal bread for bfast with black coffee. I alternate between that and oats. =:p

I gained 10kg during my 3-mths BMT. Then Army took back the 10kg via 2 yrs 3 mths installment by putting me in the service vocation.

Army always win! :D

I'm actually hoping to get a cheap 55mm pilot watch black dial with white markers, no logo and nothing else. With the triangular kind of crown (is there a name for it? I know its for pilots as their hands are gloved) And see thru caseback.

Just for the fun of it :)
