yeah..... Brequet / Lange are watches I have long ago, bit boring, so looking at interesting pieces like Urwerks, mb&f but this one really hits...... the only thing is that the price vs the brand..... even after discount is still very painful

That's the price to pay to be 1 of 20 people on this planet to get to own this watch! hehe. Good luck with your decision and do share pics of the watch in the flesh if u pull the trigger. cheers

what does painful mean for you ? You can pay the amount but it wipes out certain % of your assets to be uncomfortable or you feel the price does not justify based on brand and perceived value ?

If it is the former, it just means you cannot afford it for now... its painful for me if I look at PP or AP. :s13:

If its the latter, i suggest you go with your heart ....:D

Some people greatly dislike watches ``associated'' with cars. Especially if you don't actually own that car. I only mention this because you seem concerned about the image projected by a watch. Otherwise, whatever floats your boat..... but if I were that passionate about watches, I'd go for Urwerk.

Personally I prefer pieces from mb&f, aesthetics wise they seem more unique and eye catching.

I agree with Stephen...
I guess that maybe the main reason why iceflight is not convinced about this watch...

Abit tough for auto chrono at less than 2k. If push it up to 3,4k i think possible to find something fr longines, oris.

If quartz, i think def can find. Tissot, seiko, citizen, fashion brands.

Maybe other bros may know some other automatic brands within ur budget.

Frankly if it is more than 2k, my wife will prefer a LV bag.

She is interested in Daytona, haha her theory one Daytona = many many bag lolz.

Same.... my wife also say one rolex sub can buy many many bags. Lolx

The repair cost is very reasonable considering its such a old g shock model.. i was expecting closer to $40. Another 10 good yrs dude ^.^

Nice hoot. Maybe can try a SS black band with brush finish?

I think it will look good with the rugged design or even rubber band

Thanks.

I am more inclined towards chain with rugged design because watch itself is very strong built and heavy.

Anyone can recommend where I can go looking for strap change?

Very lovely watches.

The skelly is which brand? Tbh.... I can't stop staring at the mechanism hahahah

I think I saw a similar hugo boss watch at their AD. Very nice but it a bit pricey...

Is this the TITAN watch you were talking about??

Skelly is also from Titan, but I hoot locally in Singapore during sale. Its mechanical hand wound movement though.

I will soon post pictures of the one about which I was talking about.

Last time I was talking about this one:

Quartz Movement itself is 1.15mm

Whole Watch is 3.5mm built from titanium.

Rhodium dial (frankly speaking I don't know what it means)

Titan claims it to be slimmest quartz watch in universe which is currently in production.

Moreover it is quite inexpensive.

Other watches still can get easily. This one is really rare. If u don't get it now, u will not be able to in the near future.

If money is not an issue, just go for it. It's quite a special piece to own.

That I'm pretty not worried about. It's been stuck for a while at THG.

That's the price to pay to be 1 of 20 people on this planet to get to own this watch! hehe. Good luck with your decision and do share pics of the watch in the flesh if u pull the trigger. cheers

Yes the price in relation to the brand is what's stopping me

what does painful mean for you ? You can pay the amount but it wipes out certain % of your assets to be uncomfortable or you feel the price does not justify based on brand and perceived value ?

This thing about watches or other such stuffs to me is that it's not an item anyone should ever get if you cannot afford or need to slog to pay installments for it. To many it's a sort of status symbol when it comes a good watch, therefore wear according to your status. Yes to some the a passion/hobby but prudence is needed. My consideration is not affordability, it's the price relation.

Some people greatly dislike watches ``associated'' with cars. Especially if you don't actually own that car. I only mention this because you seem concerned about the image projected by a watch. Otherwise, whatever floats your boat..... but if I were that passionate about watches, I'd go for Urwerk.

Never really like the Veyron and of course the price is a bit dear for me.

Personally I prefer pieces from mb&f, aesthetics wise they seem more unique and eye catching.

I agree
