My small-scale dilemma right now is thinking to go for the seiko diver or not. haha

Realised big diff in price from AD vs parallel import. Also looks abit big for my wrist. But very nicely finished and solid feel.

Mai tu liao... hoot first talk later.

This seiko diver design quite popluar in Sin.
Plus its looks fine on your wrist. Better than me in fact...
This watch I tried couple months ago... it look uber big on me... cuz my wrist really small only 6".

Plus this diver has many positive reviews and it is one which can take a lot of rough handling

Btw the shop is at bras basah or bencoolen? Cuz doesn't look Mustafa to me...
For certain brands like orient, seiko and citizen, I prefer to go to PI.. cuz they will bring in certain models which not available from the local ADs.

Just a personal experience with Combat straps as I have 2 custom toad straps from Aaron of Combat straps for my Pams. He has really unique colours and materials to choose from but you have to be patient. My 2 straps took about 2 mths from the time I ordered to finally reaching my hands.

Quality of the straps are good but a small nit-pick is that he tends to put quite a bit of black sealant at the edge so it was quite difficult to fit on as the straps will become thicker. But after a while, the straps will soften and makes it easier to wear.

Very unusual colours for leather straps on PAM...
Looks nice actually... compared ro the Pams I see on rich indon chinese who mostly use original pam straps or ss bands or nato.

The repair cost is very reasonable considering its such a old g shock model.. i was expecting closer to $40. Another 10 good yrs dude ^.^

Yeah I know what you mean. I was expecting some seal or something that needs to be changed after 10 years. In the end only battery. Like what you said another 10 good yrs

This thing about watches or other such stuffs to me is that it's not an item anyone should ever get if you cannot afford or need to slog to pay installments for it. To many it's a sort of status symbol when it comes a good watch, therefore wear according to your status. Yes to some the a passion/hobby but prudence is needed. My consideration is not affordability, it's the price relation.



Never really like the Veyron and of course the price is a bit dear for me.

Bro, based on your hoot on RM. I think you don't really want this watch. Its the 1 out of 20 that interest you only. If the design is something you really like, you would have bought it.

Actually I dunno what I want to get next. Now I ask myself if I buy it will I wear it? Had quite a few impulsive purchases which end up with little or no wrist time, ended up selling at a loss.

I do find a couple of watches very interesting but .....will I wear it? If not then buy for what? Rather the money be put into my investments.

Nonetheless some watches I have my eyes on:
Breguet La Tradition
Chronoswiss opus
GMT full gold

Probably will continue to look around.
