I like your sense of humour![]()
I always tell that to my wife when I bought a new piece..
I like your sense of humour![]()
Actually I dunno what I want to get next. Now I ask myself if I buy it will I wear it? Had quite a few impulsive purchases which end up with little or no wrist time, ended up selling at a loss.
I do find a couple of watches very interesting but .....will I wear it? If not then buy for what? Rather the money be put into my investments.
Nonetheless some watches I have my eyes on:
Breguet La Tradition
Chronoswiss opus
GMT full gold
Probably will continue to look around.
Wooo... I like this last titan watch!
Guys.... just wanna find out what is your wishlist for watches?
Mine:
Rolex datejust
Rolex sub
JLC reverso
TH carrera 1887
thinking of omega speedmaster black ceramic dark side of the moon. where is a good place to buy and whats the price in singapore?
Retail is $15500. Check out omega boutique and various ADs
Check out the hublot mp-05 Ferrari design
I ever went to Yafriro Celebrer Le Temps and one of the SAs came to chitchat with me regardless of how I looked but maybe I was staring hardly at some of their not known brands outside and when I looked at the price. It's even more expensive than an AP/PP...............
I think he told me which I agreed it's quite true. Usually people who are very wealthy and they are already bored with their AP/PP or other known popular brand watches will want something very unique to their personnel taste irregardless of price and brands. He ever told me they are some customers who don't even bother to look and feel the watch and just buy it................................
To this people, money is really a lot until don't know where to spend............![]()
Well, the fact that it's been in THG for so long speaks volume of desirability I guess.
Just a personal opinion but haute horological pieces like these, richard mille, MB&F, Urwerk, etc, generally two types of people will buy them, the first being "I'm-super-rich-I-have-no-other-place-to-spend-I-like-the-looks/status/reputation-it-gives-and-I-don't-care-about-resale-so-I-buy-it."
The 2nd type is probably the "I-really-love-the-looks/design-so-much-and-I-can-afford-so-I-buy-it."
There are probably other types but those 2 types are just my general view of most buyers of such pieces.
Since you are concerned about the price relation to value/brand perhaps you can look else where towards other brands/models. Honestly speaking, i feel the case aesthetics look similar to pieces like MB&F's HM5 or Azimuth SP-1 battletank. It certainly is unique and eye-catching but not that unique and eye-catching. Right now if i throw out the term haute horology, only 3 names tops my list, MB&F, RM and Urwerk.
But hey, yolo, so if you can't get it out of your head then perhaps you should listen to it. Sometimes being too logical takes the fun out of ours and any other hobby.
Anyway, just my 2 cents, don't be offended in any way yah.![]()
Bro, based on your hoot on RM. I think you don't really want this watch. Its the 1 out of 20 that interest you only. If the design is something you really like, you would have bought it.
Thats what I feel after reading your replies haha MHO!!
Very unusual colours for leather straps on PAM...
Looks nice actually... compared ro the Pams I see on rich indon chinese who mostly use original pam straps or ss bands or nato.

Man, you don't yet realise that you are a gone case. After having a PP, do you really think that you would get any satisfaction from a Rolex? You are
doomed to dream of still higher levels.....
.... or you could step off the escalator and go down to that Parmigiani showroom.
To share though.... With all ... I think a PP 5712 is something essential to have if one can afford it. It's a really well made watch with great detailing... Even when u compare to the higher range PP, it's still about the nicest PP, complications aside. Best price / looks / brand ratio.
Unfortunately I had to put that on ebay for $100, still there if you want.
Clearing up my small watch collection to get a watch from higher class.
Oh and also cos lower end may prefer to get new pieces for now. Just feel better when wearing a new watch somehow hahaWow. Jus curious cld u share how much u got it for? But may not have intention to buy. Cos right now my budget only can cater for cheap or rather low to mid end watches. Aiming to get one for casual wear and leave my current seiko for work or more formal occasions.
+1 for the PP 5712.
A dream will always be a dream even if you have ap, pp or vc.
