I think if u wanted the AP ROO to looked more dressy, just need to change the rubber bracelet to a metal one be it stainless steel or gold.

But I feel the PP nautilus still looked kind of weird irregardless u change the bracelet for t-shirt/jean.......................

I guess we differ in that view cause ROO on bracelet to me = a "going-to-get-rob-so-I-throw-that-chunk-of-metal-towards-the-robber-to-concuss-him" watch.

But hey that's what makes this thread interesting with different views.

Have you tried Hamilton jazzmaster traveler GMT automatic or Tissot T-Classic Tradition GMT?

That's what I like about Pams. The ability to pull off any colours and the easiness of changing straps. It is a "new watch" everytime you get new "shoes" for them.

Never thought of getting other watches, I may be one of the very few that are not interested in APs and I am still on the fence with PP. Maybe like what iceflight said, the PP 5712 may be the only other watch that I may consider.

But it's on hold after getting a new ride, collecting tomorrow.

Should I buy a less branded/street brand watch? From what I know branded watches like Tissot can just go to their official service center for repair if its damaged. How about less branded/street brand watch?

However, what I worry is where can I repair if its damaged /where can I change straps. The reason why I chose this watch is because it looks quite close to Tissot Visodate and it is under $250 which is around my budget.

Why dont you look at Orient Bambino? I think it's the perfect one for you since you want something close to the visodate. I have one too btw,still working great.

Good read indeed.. Kind of relates to my posting yesterday. The main takeaway from the article for me was not so much about AP but that a Mercedes-Benz C250 Sport costs about usd37,400 fr where the author is based in.
