Google it and found out it is the 214270 explorer 1, 39mm.

Any thoughts on this rolex model? My take that it is simple yet classy. Kinda tempted liao, seeing how my relative carry it off

Personally prefer the 36mm size, which is the original explorer size. The 39mm has been criticised to have hands that are too short because rolex chose to continue using the hands meant for 36mm dial on 39mm model. Duno if this got corrected or not.

If so then the "short hand" models may be collectible

U prob need to look at side by side pics to see it more obviously. But when u see the 39mm dial u will feel the hands look short compared to other sports model rolex

As u can see, some other diff other than hands like the mini lume markers and font placement on dial. The bracelet is def the major improvement but apart from that, prefer the older dial and size
