Had a good close up look of the pelagos in the flesh finally as a gent w the watch on same bus as me.

Impression is that its very modern n youthful due to the matt look. Somehow reminds me of recent version of tag aqua racer. The snowflake hands are a good nod to tudor's heritage. Overall i conclude its a watch for young man which i m not. If only they do black bay w snowflake. Really power then

Thank you! anyone knows the retail price for blackbay now? Both bracelet and strap version ?

it's sold out in some outlets - so got money also got to wait. price revisions (ie. price hikes) could also hit anytime, should tudor do so.

anyway, the last price check was approx sgd3,950 for the leather strap version and approx sgd4,500 for the s/steel bracelet version.

the pelagos seem to be slightly more available than the bb.

Yes. There are companies that do that, like Prohunter.

Senseless if you asked me.

well, there are people who like to zhng their watch that matters, what with the stealth look craze & all.

it's a fad and will pass with time. i could be wrong. but if it goes mainstream, i'm sure rolex will muscle into this lucrative segment and offer the stealth look, dlc and the works, just like amg/merc right?

the marketplace just stepping in to fill that niche.

Guess I was too late haha..

Is it for yourself or htb? It's quite bulky if you ask me... heavy and a bit thick. But looks good nonetheless... love the burgundy bezel and black dial combi and of course, the snow flake hands :)
