Tried ROO, too big for me.

ROC size is good for me but somehow not really talking to me.

Then comes the aquanaut where the brand does appeal to me more than AP.

To be honest, I would love to splurge on a natilus but am not ready to spend beyond $20k for a watch yet, hence I thought when the PP opportunities, maybe I shd take the plunge since the preown shop offers one year in house warranty.

Any problem beyond, I will have it serviced at a reputable preown shop to save some costs.

Get the feeling again u are "settling" for something based on the budget (like u mentioned thinking to get ROO diver becos it was the cheapest ROO). Do try the aquanaut by all means but if it doesnt feel right and i don't think there is ever a good reason why a luxury watch needs to be bought urgently, then con't saving up for the watch u like best. Good luck!

When I buy from shops, I always ask them to state in the receipt that they'll allow me to return for a full refund if it's not authentic. So far the shops have been obliging. If they're to refuse to state, I won't buy

oh pawn shops do that? sorry i didn't know, never buy from them before. because i am afraid i go back and tell them movement not authentic, they can turn back and bite me say i may be the one who change it.

totally agree! don't buy just for the brand. buy because you like the watch.

its like i am reading as though u are buying because its a patek and not because u like aquanaut. i prefer 5711 though. :D

So fast?

I did try an aquanaut in PP boutique before and kinda like it overall. Only the size is Abit small as compared to my pam; will need some time to get used to.

Oops, didn't state clearer, I meant secondhand shops :o found some of the pawnshops asking price too high. Usually they do their own verification so can't accuse you changing parts. Not in your interest and their interest too.

More pics of my Explorer 1.. Hopes you guys are not sick of it.. I know I'm not. :o:D

Observed Hong Kong ppl that most of them wear Rolex as their luxury watch, guess it is a brand they held in high regard? There are already a few retailers across a street.

Chatted with a local SA there, The well received models by Hongkees are the sports series while for Tudor are the classic series.

Most i spotted who wore the sports Rolex are ladies.... Man they looked hot and classy with the subs. One wore a Daytona and one wore an explorer 1 like mine. Certainly a different taste of elegance when they wear these sport Rolexes!

Sooo Vanilla way.... Get a sport serie Rolex! ;)
