Seiko lor... One cent one quality.. If u feel n see my omega compare to Rolex u know the meaning.. Same thing if u compare the omega to Seiko quality n workmanship..that Rolex is really wow.
Can recommend me watches w such design as your Rolex/omega that is affordable

The panda almost became my first rolex. That was about 2 yrs back.
the story was, I even told my AD I was all ready to buy. Brought cash and credit cards, made sure enough to pay, fixed appointment.... and went down. Loved what I saw, fitted my wrist very well (I now am starting to believe gold + white face watches suit me well) and when I was about to pay, suddenly I didn't feel like buying it. I suddenly thought about my kids (who were just a few months old) and how much money this would meant for their milk powder, diapers, etc
I apologized to my AD and she understood very well, being a young mother herself and we've known each other for almost 10yrs.....we then spent the next hour talking about children and family life.
even buying a watch can be a story in life itself. I'm sure vanilla way agrees - and I hope it's a great memory for her and her hubby for many years to come, and retelling the stories to their children and grandchildren.
I know it because I will be telling them to my kids
Sorry to bring this up again... i totally agree, and reading this got me quite emotional, because many years ago, i remember with my 1st hard-earned allowance as a chao recruit, I bought my dad a Seiko Kinetic that cost $280. I blew more than a month allowance on that watch and i felt really proud and happy to buy it for my dad on his birthday and I could see he was really happy.
He has been wearing it for 17 years... until last year, he suddenly sold it off to cash converters. I don't know why but i actually felt sad... maybe because i can never understand why he did not see it as an object of sentimental value... he never needed the money anyway. If it was me, i would never do something like that. Maybe that is the difference between my dad and i - we've had a lot of quarrels and disagreements in the past, but i still respect him and love him as he is a responsible family man.
Well... he is now wearing one of my old watches and he seems happy with it. So i kind of accepted the fact that he is not so sentimental and moved on with this incident...
Sorry for the WOT and being emo... if you've bothered to read until this far, would like to show you my late Grandfather's watch... nothing fanciful, but i like it on my wrist and it will always remain an object of sentimental value to me

Haha! It is my luck that my HK boss is very into watches and always have great deals. Just thinking back, all the watches that my family have acquired, ie: Rolex, FM, Pams, JLC, etc, came from him!
Except my most precious, S$40.00 1960+ Pagol watch, which my late granddad bought, which was from a shop at Balestier!

Have you ever asked him why he did that? seiko sell to cash converter won't be able to get a lot isn't it? most people wouldn't sell.
