Morning xdd
I hardly even drive. Takes public transport everyday to and fro work and getting around. So convenient and no hassle of parking, jam, stupid drivers etc. Can relax and watch videos also.

On top of all these, I calculated I can save at least $500 (trains and bus just $100 a mth compared to at least $600 on petrol) a month. This can be spent as extra on my family, or help a needy family for a month or two.

Honestly I find public transport ok. Squeeze also not as bad as Japan but hoping the frequency can be better.

this is pretty enlightening.

for someone like most trying to buy my own vehicle.

but won't your work require you to meet clients and all? and that for you to drive to work would be "essential"?

a car, while being a tool of convenience, is actually a huge wealth depreciation item. it's also seen as a symbol of success in singapore due to the asian mindset and I have personally seen too many young people compromise the quality of their lifestyle just so they can get a car. very sad.

do consider if u really need a car. for some people, booking a cab daily ends up cheaper.

ok man gotta get ready for work to catch the free train seeya later! :)

Ok.. i tried but it was too chunky for my liking. Weight was alright for me.

Imo dssd maybe too 'thick' for formal/long sleeves. :s13:

Dssd needs a big guy to pull off. Anything less looks like strapped on handcuff n probably not comfortable for wearer too.

Just bought it on Sat.

Will wear this when I go overseas for holiday.

Nice Hoot!

I feel that G Shock is really an ideal watch to wear on weekends and holidays. It somehow gives a "chillax" feel? :s22:

Not sure if it is because of the rubber strap? Cos my wrist is always tied down with leather strap/metal bracelet on weekdays. :o

Not only that... it is so light that you just wear and forget abt it. Don't even have to worry abt knocks and such - it is doing exactly what it is designed for - taking hits :D

but some colour combi are over the edge, I feel. almost like a franken watch.

uncle cannot appreciate those; thats why my G shocks are the safe white and the yellow bumblebee.

Haha yeah not all colour combinations are nice but I do appreciate their efforts to make things 'less boring' and offer more options for different individuals with different taste.

I agree. I booked cabs daily for a few days before for several mths and it's still cheaper than owning a car. Like personal limo and I can prep the documents and do my work on the way to destination too. :D

Applies to guys only.

I saw it in on a lady's wrist and it looked badass and sexy at the same time. :D

Sigh.. Life is always unfair..

DSSD is a nice watch but the height of the case can be a problem. I eventually flipped it for an AP Diver last week.
