Did some watch window shopping during lunch.. Wanted to get the Longines retrograde or the speedmaster mark II. Any opinions?

Watch gurus, for watches that your keep in storage, some people say it's good practice to put the watch into a winder to spread the lubricant, etc. would just winding the watch manually do if I don't have a winder?

yes winding would do as long as you keep the watch running

For JLC at local AD, what kind of discount do you guys think i can get? I brought a Reverso Duetto years ago for my mom and got 30% (pure walk-in situation) but that is a very long time ago. Possible to get 25% for a master control?

Btw, have you guys heard of this Seagull Seamaster watch? Supposed to be from China but sold in Singapore. They are all calling it the Singapore watch at watchuseek forum. Seem like a current craze going on. I think part of the allure is that it's a hit and miss whether or not you can get one. The guy selling it is irratic. :s13:

Here is the sold out blue dial one and the black one which I just ordered (About USD139 including shipping):
