I've a question for rolex gurus... after all the over-engineering, extravagant materials, and pricey research, why don't rolex just align the crown properly when screwed down like other brands? I find this really mind boggling.

It will never be aligned properly. I believe currently the sky dweller is the only which has the crown aligned properly on all models.

Rolex has actually developed a patent for this.

Tag Monaco blue face with blue leather strap one is no longer in production so it is hard to find new piece in the shops.

So far my experience with 2 Tag automatic has been good, 1st was 6+ years and still running well when I sold it. The current one below is still running well after 4 years

Ah, thats great to hear, i never dared to step into tag AD before because of all the bad stuff i hear. Maybe should give it a chance...

I believe Tag monaco is around 3k? But I Heard Tag is not a very reliable watch.... I dont mind extending my budget, but has to be worth it...

Auto is most preferred, and you are right, its so hard to find a blue dial with blue strap. But all that being said theres PP 5070P

Its a luck of draw. For some pieces, the crown is aligned perfectly while its out for others.

U heard Tag not reliable? A little knowledge is a very dangerous thing . Tag no inferior to any watch in reliability la.

Cause most of the people I know who owns a tag, most of them gone case... But sometimes i find it a heng suay thing. lol.

Suntory Whiskey... Very nice.. I had a 18 yr Yamazaki before and it beats alot of other whiskey commonly found in Singapore

I've known pple who own and wore their tags for 10+ yrs and still going strong. Depends on how they take care also lah, tags can be damn good daily beaters too.
