Morning.
Spent the night at hospital. Son warded for high fever. Target to be discharged this evening.

I spent a week before when daughter was hospitalized and I didn't have a nice watch to accompany me then. Hope he gets well soon.

By the way , is the Nautilus in white gold? Being a soft material, how is the gold holding up in terms of scratches?

i think it might be the weird weather these few days. Sudden rain then sudden sunlight then sudden rain again.

Don't say children... even us adults also will get sick under such weird weather

A couple of colleagues' children are also sick - two of them even down with bronchitis.
take care everyone!

OIC, I heard of a few Pateks not being in gold/platinum, so this is one of them. Yup we should reinforce each other that watches will get banged up and love them as battle scars of life...and avoid the paranoia that has gotten hold of some :s13:

Thanks for asking, daughter is doing fine now.

Waaaa OCS :D Sir!
I think I will be poor during my NS tho.. most likely no hope for any command school. Oh well just serve and fug off :s12:

Lol haha one of my plans too, but like harder and harder to chao keng already :(

well.....it's up to you. I wanted to discover more about my own strengths and weaknesses and also how far I can push my mental limits.....so NS was actually a good time in my life to sort of "grow up" and discover more about myself.

if you go in with a positive mindset then life will be easier. negative mindset and you'll feel it's plain torture everyday + waste of time. just like working.

time will pass anyway; it's how you make use of it. Carp diem, like they say.

the tough times, interestingly, will be the funniest stories you share with your buddies many years down the road. Repeating the stories over and over again like a broken record. Tough when you are doing it, but hilariously funny when you guys retell the story.

Do enjoy it :)

What will it cost you? I am sure this is not covered under warranty, since they said it's within spec. I am interested to know because if it's just time at the service centre I am willing to send in fir regulation my calibre 5.

I just collected the watch from the centre.

Watch is still under warranty. It was indicated as FOC checking and hence, no charges.

The assuring part was they used some transparent plastic to wrap the bracelet and the crystal to prevent scratches.

Sorry maybe I did not make myself clear or I misunderstood the time references mentioned in your post.

You said you sent it in 3 days ago and they subequently told you that for regulation it will take 4 weeks and ask if you want to proceed. i.e. you have not done the regulation yet. My question was how much did they quote you if you want to do the 4-week long service to regulate to improve the accuracy.
