I came back from the recce at Bencoolen and Peninsula. It seems that only Wins has it, and I got to try out the white steel, white RG and black RG. I cannot decide which is the best because all 3 looks nice! haha
I may filter down to white steel and black RG. Anyone has both to give some field reviews?

Btw, about King Wah. They have shifted back to Penisula plaza, and changed name to ACube Timeless liaoz, still the same boss and sales tactics...

i think it boils down to your skin tone.
white/steel also looks more casual-able, while black/RG probably more dressy and for work attire.

What makes you say that the real stuff don't look solid? The weight surprises many in a good way. Some people have the misconception that cheap watches are light and expensive watches are heavy.

IMHO many times its also the marketing. When smacked with a big brand, many people will have the first perspective that an item is good no matter how chui actually it is.

Personally I own a yellow and blue Orient Mako and I have never regretted getting them because they are really good value for divers in the category. Do I need Omega or Rolex diver watches? Of course its good if I can afford that price lah, but actually seiko and orient serves me good enough until the day I earn that fat cheque to get a submariner...

no i dont have misconception that expensive watch are heavy.

infact expensive watch somehow lighter than cheaper watch.
