hi all, i would like to know is it a common practice for watch shop/retailer to keep only 1 piece of watch on display and to sell it off as "new" but many people could have touch or tried it on.

I think that applies to a lot of other items as well, not just watches. It depends on what the item is as well. For example clothes, shoes, bags etc.

It is possible for slow moving items or items of limited quantity in productions and so on or just something they've run out of stock on. Usually the seller will indicate that this is the last piece available and if you are willing to buy it(you can haggle on the price) then the sale takes place.

Unless you are saying that they say that the piece on display is the last piece but actually not, otherwise I don't see anything wrong with that.

Like how your shoes float..looks like invisible man walking in them !

this thread moves too fast, I'm always browsing from the last page, that's why missed your post. I used 2 toothpicks to support the shoe and clone them off in photoshop. ;)

Looks great. How many of these microbrands do you have? All divers? How about pilots? Any racers? Dress watches?
