It does wears smaller on your wrist. I think the bezel plays a part. Maybe is all about adjusting and getting used to it. :)

Oh btw i have a noob question about citizen eco drive.

I am supposed to let the watch charge by sunlight but the booklet also says not in a place where it can get too hot.......i dun quite get it.

So do I need to place it under direct sunlight, or just not cover the face, i.e., leaving it in my watch box with the glass window, also can?

Thanks in advance!

A peasant man watch. But I like it very much for sentimental values because it is a handed down from my father whom bought it with his first payslip.

Nice!

And no, I disagree that it is a "peasant man watch".

All watches, regardless of brand and price, are bought because they "speak" to the buyer, so inherently, there is "value" to them.

Furthermore, with such a watch history, I can say that this means more to you than a brand new "branded" expensive watch!

Go forth and wear it with pride! :)

I think it means placing the watch in a position where it is exposed to light (doubt it needs to be specifically sunlight nor direct sunlight) but in a common sense way, should be indoors and not subject to intense heat. E.g. don't "charge" your watch in middle of the padang (when u eating grass) or parade square at noon time :s13:

Agree. The history and value is priceless and cannot measure by $

Thanks for the comfort, guys. :)
I will definitely target to keep it in good shape to hand down to next generation.
The only problem I am facing is that no one seems able to help me refurbish it. I went to K2 and Goh Seo Chun, but both rejected saying they aren't able to help... :(

Is it me or does the srp127 worldtime look small on my wrist? Maybe because the bezel and dial are cluttered?

Hmmm.. Maybe the world timer wording on the bezel are smaller so it feels like the watch look smaller..? But the watch is actually bigger or smaller..???

Try this place: Heirloom Gallery

Look for Shawn. I refurbished my late granddad's 40year old Pagol watch there.

yatto-san, artificial light is fine. So normal indoor lighting is good enough. I have an eco-drive passed down from my late grandpa that is sitting in my room and charged this way :)

there was a saying, if you own a seiko watch and you visit yobokies you will lose 30 minutes.
I finally understand what it meant
