So sorry.... My bad... :o:o

But frankly, the watches that create a big stir here is all value for money. Yatto's king G was love at first sight for me. The bambino is a design which I always wanted. Now the skx007, it's backside itchy, can't resist the good reviews all over the net and the KO is the pic that yatto posted this morning...

This l must agree.

When I bought skx 011, it was because the dots appeared to be smaller than the other 2 (I know they are actually the same, it is the mind which got confused ). But because the face is in orange colour, I might find that it is a bit difficult to match with my clothes (blouse ). But I still like it very much.

Now I have some problems.

1. I have looked at previous posts on Orient Bambino and must admit that have started to like the white face with rose gold version. Got the poison from here.

2. Now I am also hooked on Seiko skx watch, both skx 007 and 009.

I keep thinking whether should I buy the watch or don't buy the watch.

Before you all post the " hoot 1st talk later " pictures , I must say that I have bought orient bambino black face with rose gold version and Seiko skx 011 in January 2013. So unsure whether to buy same watch but in different colour. Sigh.....

If you really like the Bambino, the white one would be great for playing around with different colours of leather straps like these...

Or you can even try NATO straps if you're bold enough for a casual look on a dress watch :D

I scared my finger nails scratch your pp.... :o:o

Hahaha....

Kids sick, I totally understand, coz my boy is also sick, sleepless night... Haiz... Take care!!

it's already scratched by my daily wearing but I don't mind the scratches at all.

in fact the first major scratch was when I was trying to shield my son's head from a sharp corner. A "battle scar" that I can probably tell him when he is older.:D

The second scratch.... not so glorious. Kena the toilet paper holder in the look after taking a dump. LOL. :s13:

hope your son is okay too! our kids' nursery class less than 25% attendance due to sickness...... terrible

And most important things, they are very affordable, not as if they are priced like a luxury watch. The movements, durability of those watches are reasonable as well.

Lucky it's still affordable, still not at the elite stage like yatto and iceflight yet... (hopefully)

Good evening everyone.

I have been reading the watch thread (from part 1 since don't how many years ago until today's part 5).

I like the discussion here, and would like to join in as well (but my watches are not the expensive types as compared in here.

Welcome :D No worries, the thread here is rather friendly. Good balance between affordable everyday beaters to ultra luxury pieces. ;)

One thing you need is the ability to resist poison if you don't wanna buy a hole in your pocket :s13: other option is to follow your heart and let the poison flow freely in you =:p

Thanks for your reply, but I am not a brother. LOL :)

got jiemei liao!:s12:

regarding your question about getting a bambino in another colour. personally I won't do that, too many watches out there to have one exactly the same with different colour schemes.

in fact, one of the challenges for me is to not to pull triggers so easily, especially on affordable pieces..because I'm afraid one day I will end up with many seikos and all but not a single luxury piece.

The first pic is Hirsch Duke Alligator and the second pic is Hirsch Louisianalook.

Can go HirschStraps | Hirsch Bracelets by WatchObsession and see more.

Prices are more expensive than K2's Paros though.
Ordered a strap today and shipping is USD9.95 from UK.

They also have an Ebay store items in WatchObsession store on eBay! but prices are in pound so it's cheaper to order from their website instead.

Happy shopping! :D=:p

For me, l have about 16 or 17 watches, with about 50% belongs to Seiko. I have 2 orient and 1 citizen. I like them as they are durable and yet not too expensive as compared to some other brand of watch.

wow that must be some amazing collection. pls share some pics!
they are all very nice brands, I'm sure I would have gotten a fair bit of them if I didn't control myself. I keep telling myself not to pull trigger so that the funds can go towards a more expensive watch.

Although I like watches, I think I can resist poison well as compared to resist poison for books and fountain pens / fountain pen inks.
