Actually the "luxury lotion" that he included works magic.

I apply it with the cotton swabs (that he also included), give it a wipe down with a piece of cloth, and voila, it looks brand new ..

whats the different between dot and non dot?

Dot dial is the older model, uses a SuperLuminova dot to represent the Sun. I find this more visually appealing.

The new ones use AM/PM labels with a small indicating hand.
