With Pam quick change system? - 2 toothpicks

With classic screw bars? - Use a normal screwdriver, change the bar to a spring bar and then it's 1 toothpick ;)

New Radiomir 1940 Pam? You're screwed like me. :) I would just use a safety pin.

Cheers and happy shopping!

Best method there is to ensure that the case isn't scratched.

How much was deepsea? Contamplating between sea-dweller 4000 or the hulk..any advice?
what other watches you got? safe choice would be sd4000. black hard to go wrong. no cyclops means clean look. if u want to wear hulk as weekend watch then quite ok. but for daily office wear, abit over and depending on what colors you wear wont match well. imo.

Omega vs Orient for 20 years

This is a mindset comparison, not so much physically, since we all know the Omega stands heads and tails above the Orient in terms of quality.

For this comparison we'll compare:

Purchasing (1) new Omega Seamaster 41mm currently being sold as low as $3000, to be worn as your daily watch every day for 20 years.

VS.

Purchasing (1) new Orient 200m Diver 41.5mm, currently being sold as low as $150, to be worn as your daily watch each year, but purchasing a new one every year for 20 years totaling $3000, and yes you can change the color/type each year as long as same price.

In your perspective, which choice would you prefer for your next twenty years of enjoyment and why?

Depends on if you're a brand ***** or not. Isn't it?

you need to include the cost for servicing the omega and they are not cheap. For Orient you will be selling some of the watches and recover some of the cost. So in the end the orient will Be alot cheaper.

But the motto for this forum is "Hoot 1st think later", so just get the more expensive one, don't think so early

To add on, your 1 watch can tell a lot more stories than many.

Case in point, Yatto's PP, which he already has ready stories to tell his children.

This is what a huge collection can never really achieve.

Memories.

My wife is not a ramen person but ichiran must be the first and last food whenever we are in tokyo. Until the kids came along......not a family restaurant kinda place.

Iceflight really must go have a try!

Ichiran's type is the hakata ramen. Thin firm noodles and tonkotsu (pork broth). Need to top up for soft centre egg but its just so good...... Finish the noodles, leave the soup untouched and order kaedama 替え玉 "replacement noodle" and hoot another round. Damn shiok.

My wife also not a Ramen person as she do not eat pork, so this is me with my son.... Sure will try, the shop looks so interesting already...

My concierge arranging for all my itinerary, when I saw my transport cost from Shinjuku to Narita, I nearly fainted, the hotel is charging me S$500 for that 1 trip!!!!!!! But lucky I've a privy to use 1 transit to airport for free, but means I've to pay for the others, got them to hunt for more reasonable alternatives, any ideas or suggestions, I dun wan to take any public bus transport, perhaps a cab may be cheaper?

Warning. A cab from airport to town may run you up to $200-300. Their cabs are definitely not cheap but it also depends on your travelling party. The Narita Express is really quite convenient and comfortable as well if you are buying the green class tickets. You'll be able to get a taste of what's rural Tokyo as the train passes some pretty nice scenery before hitting central Tokyo.
