Jlc mut moonphase. Can be gotten close to his budget if ur AD can extend "hold hand" price to him

Had to come out of lurking to support this recommendation. The JLC MUT moonphase is probably the best looking dress watch at that price range.

I'd also add the Glashutte Original Senator Date with Moonphase as a recommendation, but will prob need a sizeable discount too.

How well does rose gold plating last on the watch? It's a really nice watch, but I've never had a gold plated watch so not sure how it will handle dinks and scratches.

Tks for the support. Much rather save the recom for myself but then again many ppl already aware of this watch. That said, moon phase is just one of those things to have on a watch for the heck of it but otherwise not of practical use unless u r a werewolf
