Grand seiko will not lose out to many Swiss brands in terms of finishing. Japanese are pretty much obsessed with perfection.

my SA could not find a steel piece, and the RG is 6.2k retail, after discount about 4.6k. Both are 1,888 pcs limited editions according to them.......

yup according to what I read around, they do in-house movements.....

haven't really tried - actually the watch is still in the box. Reached home about 8pm just now and has been playing with the kids, gave my wife and mum their presents, then pat the kids to sleep and I fell asleep myself. Woke up after I had the weirdest dream.

The clicks didn't feel very solid while I was trying at the AD. probably takes some getting used to........

thanks so much for sharing! I am poisoned but...... need to spread out my purchases for a bit. Was telling my wife how nice the seiko looks and she gave me a look which sent chills down my spine :s22::s22::s22:

It's not a 312, but a 351. If you look closely, the watch face is tobacco rather than matt black. :)

Did the shots in a dim room with some backlighting (wife needs some light to read her book!) and then used PS to move the contrast/highlights/etc around and finally sharpened it. Other than that, nothing much lah. I PS-kuku. :)

Now I am tempted to zhng mine.. this is my first time modding watch.. the only zhng i done so far is switch to a leather nato strap.. from what i gather it would be as follows.

Mine is with the silver accent, with day & date. From the links, dun tink there is one to accommodate this?

will it turn out to be covering one of them?
