That's the thing. It's cheap enough to consider, and that's a dangerous thing.

I can already foresee that I will like one more than the other and wear it more often, but in the scheme of things, it will ultimately still receive limited wrist time in the rotation.

So cheap isn't so cheap.

I'm considering eventually having a snzh55 modern fff mod, snzh57 vintage fff mod.. and a BB mod..

ok time to break combo and dig out a previous beater. i know many don't like titanium as it picks up scratches easily (but is easily polished off too). but i love it for its rugged finish/patina which matches the tobacco dial perfectly.

titanium is also more resistant to "edge-dings" compared to steel, due to its superior hardness, which will be seen over time.

and unlike steel titanium feels "warmer" to touch so is much more comfortable on hot humid days.

What I find inaccurate is the dial looks bigger than usual, and the thickness of the bezel thinner than usual, making it more proportionate than it really is.

Just compare the pics of the same watch on this page. The one I posted looks a lot busier although it's exactly the same combo.

Look closely and you will realize it is photoshopped. Notice that the bezel is much sharper/more defined than rest of the photo.

Hi guys! I am new to the world of watches and this forum haha. Actually I have been following this thread for months (but this is my first ever post on HWZ) and have suffered lots of poisoning from all those photos that u guys posted. But I have finally made a purchased today because of this thread! I was down at K2 at around 5 plus with my gf and bought myself a 57 haha(The uncle said i got the 9th piece today). Fell in love with it as soon as i first saw it at the shop.

actually this was the first rolex that had me looking at the brand seriously. I still remember the recurring advertisement they had on the huge screen while dining at swisscafe. because I feel the other rolexes were a bit small so this one at 44mm caught my attention, even before the TT blue sub.

but after a while i wasnt that keen anymore because it didnt look like a rolex...... the "yachtmaster II" words on the bottom of the bezel and the layout of the dial feel that it wouldn't last the test of time.

Thats the rolex style. Every model name is written on the dial. 'Deep sea sea dweller' should be the rolex with most "text" all over.. i think...

The YMii is written on the bezel......that was what I didnt really like after a while.
On the dial i'm okay....thats how they are...

Yes. Changed it to the rubber then bought a zulu strap. Wore for a week and finally decided that the bracelet is still the best.
