looking at tudor for weekends and weekdays a stowa/orion ( for work ) but then again a tudor is good for work too... sigh so hard to choose

I was almost going to get the Deepsea but upon scrutiny it looked like a submariner with a double chin, for lack of better way to put it. The chunk of metal that is the case is too big for the bezel, and for Rolex the focus must be on the classic design of the dial and bezel not the metal case. Also the strap is just 21mm and tapers really too much to just 16mm!....for the hunk of a watch that it is. For watch this size, strap should start at 24mm and taper at most to say 22mm. Saw a lady with a Deepsea once near Sim Lim, looked not bad on her.

I do find the Sub C's metal bracelet too thin as well. Can't they not tapered the bracelet!?!

My NS pay is half of the NS current pay!!! They have good allowance now!

this thread is really good for young aspiring working adults like me.
not towards being materialistic.
towards the sense that there are so many people that have made it in life.
this will spark me to want to do better in life.
to enjoy the perks of enjoying life.
to work really hard towards goals that I have set for myself.
to be successful in life and make life a enjoyable journey with little or no regrets when it comes to an end.

lol just suddenly thought of it when studying for exam.

i'm currently awaiting to serve my NS but yeah, after i got poisoned by the different mid- to high-end watches i'm motivated to study hard during uni so that i can get a good job and afford the watches i've always wanted.

I got my license when I was 24. Haha clear in 4th attempt. The instructors think I watch too much initial d. Hahaha. Spend almost 2k on private lesson. Sigh. And still no car to drive. Haha nvm luh. At least I acquire and unlock a life skill!

I did a 1 (basic theory), 2 (advance theory) and 3 (practical)... Bought a goods vehicle ($6200) when I was in Uni.
