congrats! it's very nice..wear it in good health. wanted a monster that time (new version) but it looks too huge for me.Is this a mini? how big is the size of this monster?

The mini monster wears Lot larger then the original monster. Thatz why i didnt get it. I posted before previously.

I think I prefer the newer monster now, because of the cleaner dial. I traded with someone using my seiko sportura which I really didn't like.

It looks cleaner probably because they removed the digits on the dial. Less cluttered. They also changed all the hour markers to shark teeth. Thus, make the watch face look more uniform and symmetrical. Lastly they added chrome trimmings to the hour markers. I will call it some nip an tuck of the original iconic monster watch

I shall learn to appreciate the monster that I have because I don't want to end up with more when I'm trying to trim down my collection. Trying to contain all in just one 8 slots watch box.. but really nice monster you have there! How much did you get it for?

My 2004 $300-400ish Seiko kinetic which my wife kept for me in a box. Not a cheap Seiko actually.

Critical injuries:
- repeated shakes manages to jolt second hand to move a few seconds
- bezel black paint for numbers 90% gone. Bezel turns with great effort unevenly
- misty crystal. I did send for service before but the mist came back. Yes I swam with it before. I thought 100m meant I can swim in 100m water and swimming pool only 2m, duh in hind sight.
- bracelet closes but not properly

I think I only got it because it resembled the Tag Heuer kirium shape, a watch I was madly smitten by at the turn of the century, but couldn't afford.

Verdict - Dead or Resurrectable?

Yes mine too, was thinking if I should go tomorrow but Mr goh adviced against it as he say weekend alot people
